Scholarships are available for all players based on need.
Scholarships Policy: Families interested in receiving a scholarship should send a letter, expressing this need, to Talbot Lacrosse Association, PO Box 2014, Easton, MD 21601. Letters must be received prior to the close of registration.
TLA will loan all necessary equipment, excluding a stick, to Bantam and Lightning boys. First time players at the Junior and Senior Level may also borrow equipment. Equipment is loaned after a $250 deposit is given to TLA.
Starters do not need to purchase any equipment to participate. Many starters bring a stick with them to practice, but TLA will loan one each Saturday.
Girls at Bantam through Seniors must wear protective eyewear whenever on the field. Goggles are not provided by TLA. Girls who wear glasses must purchase goggles specially made for this situation.
The following chart shows the Birth Year for each level of play. Players must register for the level of play that matches the birth year. Players may NOT play “down” for any reason. Players may only “age up” with the permission of the coach.
