2026 TLA Registration

Welcome to another exciting season of the fastest game on two feet!!

A few things to note before you begin registration for your player:

USA Lacrosse Membership:

A separate annual USA Lacrosse membership is required. When you get to that section in the registration process, you will be redirected to the USA Lacrosse website to complete/update your membership.

**IMPORTANT** Once your USA Lacrosse Membership is updated, you need to return back to the TLA Registration page to complete the registration for your player.

ESYLA Member:

TLA is a member of the Eastern Shore Youth Lacrosse Association, and TLA competes against other ESYLA teams throughout the Eastern Shore including Atlantic, Beach, Camden, Caroline, Diamonds / Bucks, Dorchester, Falcons, Kent and Queen Anne's County. We expect all registered players to participate in every practice and every game. If travel is an issue due to transportation, please reach out to your Coach and work out carpooling with other team families. Besides, it gives the kids an opportunity to make new, lifelong friends (we speak from experience!)

Ages of Players:

Boys and girls in elementary school and middle school between the ages of 5 and 14 (grades K4/K5 through the end of 8th grade) are eligible to play.

Dates of the Season:

Our season begins with practices around the 1st Saturday of March. Games generally begin the 1st weekend in April and continue for 8 weeks. Some teams continue their season with optional post-season tournaments. The Starters program (K4/K5) begins around the 1st weekend in April and continues for 8 weeks. The season wraps up in May with our highlighted annual event, the TLA Bull Roast. This event is similar to a tournament, and is always a great time.

Equipment:

Players are required to provide their own equipment.

Boys: helmet, arm pads, shoulder/chest pads, gloves & stick.

Girls: Stick & goggles

**Please contact TLA if you need help finding equipment; we do not want to discourage players from participating who don’t have equipment**

Uniforms:

All players will receive a reversable Talbot Lacrosse pinny included with their registration. Starters will receive a Talbot Lacrosse T-shirt.

Registration Fees:

Starters: $40

All Other: $75

Scholarship Policy

Talbot Lacrosse Association does not want financial capability to in any way inhibit local children participating in our program. We recognize that the cost of registration is significant for some families. If these costs are a burden, Talbot Lacrosse Association has a limited number of scholarships available to provide assistance with Talbot Lacrosse registration fees. Scholarships cannot, however, cover US Lacrosse registration fees.

Families interested in receiving a scholarship should send a letter, expressing this need, to Talbot Lacrosse Association, PO Box 2014, Easton, MD 21601. You may also email this information to the Talbot Lacrosse President at [email protected] Letters/emails must be received prior to the close of registration. All inquiries will be reviewed by the board's Scholarship Committee.
